Miniature Print: The Rainstorm Artist: Hiroaki Format: Koban yoko-e: 2.125" x 3" Subject: Townsfolk caught in a rainstorm outside a restaurant. This design is printed in the aizuri-e technique (mainly shades of blue). This series of koban prints by Hiroaki are very scarce. Publisher: Shobido Tanaka Date: 1930's Condition: Good colors. Paper fractionally toned. Generally good state of preservation. Impression: Fine impression with gauffrage.
