Friday, 18 November 2005 Original, Tsuchiya Koitsu Evening at Mii Temple Woodblock PrintThe following information was provided by an art historian on the faculty of the University of Iowa who personally evaluated this print: "The carver (the left off-set box) was Harada. The printer (the right off set box of the pair) was Yokoi he worked for Doi (publisher) from 1936 to 1965. His earliest work of the images by Tsuchiya Koitsu was so good that he was promoted to principle printer for the rest of his career.
